In our first blog post of the year, we'd like to introduce a chalcedony ring that was specially custom-made from our popular 440 collection, "Water Lip."
Last November, we received a request from a customer who wanted a ring made with a milky gemstone. In response to their request, we showed them several loose stones, including white agate and moonstone. The customer chose a mysterious chalcedony with a gentle blue hue. Actually, this chalcedony was a loose stone that we had intended to use for a new "Water Lip" product. When we informed the customer of this, they mentioned that they had been interested in "Water Lip" rings for a while, so we decided to make it with this design.

The completed ring is a dramatic piece that combines the milky, ethereal blue of the chalcedony with the delicate sparkle of melee diamonds fitted to its unique shape, creating a beautiful contrast of color and brilliance.
We delivered the ring to the customer, who owns her own accessory brand, hoping that she would enjoy coordinating it with her existing accessories. Immediately after receiving it, she sent us a message with a photo of her wearing the ring, saying, "I'm already wearing it and enjoying tea."
