This is Omori, the designer.
Did you get a chance to see the [Reform] Revived light, wearing memories of a water opal that I introduced last time?
The beautiful ring, where the play of color of the water opal was encased in the elegant curves of platinum, was actually very well received.
Now, this time, I'd like to introduce another wonderful reform request we received from the same customer.
What they brought in was a large, light-blue transparent loose stone and a ring with a vibrantly orange Mexican opal.
Jewelry before reform
Their wish was to combine these two gemstones to create a special necklace.
They specified platinum as the material and said, "Leave the rest to me!"
Such requests always excite me.
When I take precious jewelry into my care and gaze at the gemstones, the hidden beauty and individuality within them seem to speak to me.
It's as if I'm conversing with the gemstones while designing.
This time, I devised three designs, and the customer chose one from them.
The chosen design is simple yet distinctive.
To bring out the presence of the large gemstones, the adornments were kept minimal, resulting in a unique diagonal setting.
Necklace after reform
It's a design that gives the impression of lively movement, as if the gemstones are chatting with each other.
Furthermore, the baguette-cut diamonds from the opal ring were also utilized in the chain part, ensuring that all gemstones were used without waste.
The main stars are, of course, the light-blue transparent stone and the orange opal.
The diamonds subtly enhance their presence.
Like spotlights, the diamonds illuminate the main gemstones, adding a beautiful sparkle.
Necklace after reform
The customer was very pleased with the finished necklace and gave us lovely feedback, saying, "It seems easy to match with everyday outfits."
The combination of light blue and orange is sure to stand out with any style!
