Hello everyone.
I'm Omori, a designer.
Today, I'd like to share an example of a custom order where even simple forms require delicate attention to detail.
We received a request from a customer who brought in a beautiful deep indigo blue tanzanite loose stone. They wanted a ring that would envelop both the finger and the tanzanite in a single strand of gold.
Our challenge began as we collaborated on sharing design ideas.
Even for a single strand of gold, various challenges arose, such as how to design the setting and prongs to support the oval-cut tanzanite, issues of strength, and the hardness and characteristics of the stone.
With a strong desire to meet the customer's expectations, we pondered deeply over the beautiful tanzanite.

Ultimately, we adopted a design that does not use a stone setting or prongs, but instead features a single, generously thick strand of gold that gently curves to embrace the tanzanite.

This design requires securely protecting the tanzanite while maintaining the strength of the gold.
The simpler the form, the more easily the overall balance can be disrupted, making it a difficult and unforgiving piece to craft, requiring precise curves, twists, and gold volume.
We meticulously crafted each detail, envisioning it down to 0.1mm.

For the final finish, we carefully applied a hairline finish, mindful of the flow of the single gold strand.
The customer was delighted when they came to pick up the ring.

Actually, this ring was crafted two and a half years ago, but even now, looking at it reminds me of the magnitude of the challenge back then.
I am deeply moved that the result of our uncompromising efforts continues to earn your trust and commissions.
We will continue to craft with all our heart to meet your expectations.
