We received a request for a remodeling consultation to create a special ring from the jade cufflinks that your father always wore. Because they are a precious item filled with memories, we wanted to take our time and create something truly special.

The husband and wife each took one jade cufflink and had them made into rings of their own design.
Both of them don't usually wear much jewelry, so their common request was for a ring that was easy to wear daily, without any protrusions, and that also incorporated the essence of 440.
This time, we are introducing the men's ring.
Even though they left it up to us, I wanted to incorporate the father's memories and form into the design, so I spent a long time exploring clues through conversation and succeeded in eliciting the word "rugged" which the husband repeatedly used. I imagined that perhaps he wanted to express his father's personality in the ring, and I presented him with three design sketches.
As he looked at the design sketches, memories seemed to resurface, and we were able to gather more design requests. We absorbed his wishes as much as possible, finalized the design, and carefully crafted the ring.

The rounded bezel setting was chosen to allow the lustrous beauty of the jade to shine through, and it offers a smooth feel against the finger, making it comfortable for daily wear. Three arms, spreading wide to the left and right, symbolize the great "love" that gently embraces the finger. A rough, rugged texture was added to the surface of the arms to evoke "ruggedness," while the sides were given a lustrous mirror finish. The three arms extending to the left and right connect into one at the back of the ring, signifying "connection" to family.
