Hello.
I'm Omori, the designer.
Today, I'd like to share the story of a deeply impressive engagement ring that began with a customer who was about to propose.
Turning the Light of Memories into a Ring
The consultation began with the desire to "create a one-of-a-kind engagement ring."
What stood out during our conversation was the night harbor show at DisneySea, a place the couple had visited many times.
"Believe! 〜Sea of Dreams〜".
During the show, a light orb like Saturn appears, floating in the night sky and on the water's surface.
It symbolizes dreams, wishes, and the "power to believe."
The impression they received from this light, and the stories of their precious memories, became the starting point for this design.
Meaning in Overlapping Rings
To be honest, I didn't know much about this harbor show beforehand.
After receiving the consultation, I rewatched the video and researched the intentions behind the production, carefully interpreting the worldview of "light overlapping, stories unfolding, and continuing into the future."
What I envisioned then was two rings gently crossing, creating a single light.
It represented the two individuals, once separate, meeting, sharing their feelings, and moving forward into the future.
It was a design that naturally resonated with the show's message.
Diamond and Two Birthstones
For the center stone, we used a diamond with a clear sparkle:
- 0.25ct
- Round Brilliant Cut
- F color / VS2
- Triple Excellent (Hearts & Arrows)
And on the two intersecting rings, we added each of their birthstones:
-
A beautiful green emerald

-
A deep yet gentle rhodolite garnet

For the band, instead of using only colored stones, we also retained the sparkle of diamonds, emphasizing the impression of "connecting light."
A One-of-a-Kind Engagement Ring
The finished ring is an engagement ring where two rings gently overlap, and a diamond quietly shines at its center.
It became a piece subtly embodying memories of a special place, unwavering feelings for his beloved, and the message of "belief."

Later, we received the wonderful news that the proposal was successful, and the ring fit perfectly.

The Story Continues
Currently, we are also discussing a custom order for their wedding bands (matching rings).
The story that began with "believing in dreams" will continue in a different form.
I am truly happy to be entrusted with such important jewelry at a milestone in their lives.
May this ring continue to be a small light that illuminates the path for the two of you.
Thank you for reading to the end.
Please look forward to the next blog post.
