The more sentimental a piece of jewelry is, the more careful one tends to be about how to remake it.
This is the story of the piece of jewelry that touched me the most during this particular remodeling project.
It was a pearl ring that the client told me might have been brought by her mother-in-law when she got married, and a diamond from a gold necklace.

These two pieces were combined and remade into a pendant top.
"This pearl holds the most sentimental value for me."
I can still clearly recall the expression on her face when she said that.
While considering the design, what I always kept in mind was how to make this pearl the centerpiece.
I wanted a design that wouldn't be too assertive, yet would still have a strong presence.
What I came up with was a crown-like design where milgrain and diamonds gently encase the pearl from above. The tiny, bubbly milgrain beads are arranged alongside the pearl, creating a look that isn't overly flashy but certainly radiant.

The pearl, which holds memories of her mother-in-law, will now shine on the client's chest.
Thinking about that, I was simply overjoyed that I could remake this pendant top. It was truly a moment that made me feel glad to be in the jewelry remodeling business.
Next, we will introduce the remodeling of a purple-pink pearl ring and pendant top set. It's a light and dynamic design crafted in pink gold. More to come.
