A customer who brought in a red stone ring consulted us about remodeling, saying, "I can't wear it as it is now." The ring we received was an antique-style ring. It had a style that was a bit difficult for the customer to match, and the gemstone was set vertically, which gave it an overly assertive impression that was also a concern.

The design is based on the popular Water Lip collection from 440, which is casual yet adds a fashionable accent.
The vivid pinkish-red stone has a strong presence. While it is the main attraction, we didn't want it to be an item that required a specific occasion, so we chose gold, which blends well with the skin and can be worn casually. The sparkle of gold and melee diamonds enhances the vibrancy of the gemstone, while setting it horizontally resulted in an elegant ring that is not overly assertive.

We delivered the ring imagining our customer cherishing it, thinking how lovely it would be to pair it with thick clothes like sweaters in the coming season.
