It's been raining softly all morning here in Hanzomon.
I was looking outside, thinking, "I wonder if the rainy season is starting soon."

On days like this, I find myself wanting to quietly appreciate jewelry.
Today, I'd like to share a beautiful story about a customer whose inherited opal ring was reformed.
It's a story that feels like a rainbow appearing in one's heart.

 

Because it's precious, I want to wear it more often

What was brought to me was an opal ring with an ethereal glow.
I involuntarily gasped, "Wow..." at the way blue and green melted into its brilliance.

"It's so beautiful. But the design doesn't quite suit me anymore."

The gemstone is lovely. But the metal color and design don't quite fit her current style.
Yet, precisely because it's something precious, she wanted it to take a form that she could "truly love" now.
That desire was the catalyst for this reform.

While browsing the jewelry in the store, the customer's eyes were drawn to the 'Water Lip' collection.

The original ring had the opal set vertically, but this time it was set horizontally.
To make it easier for everyday wear, it was made as low as possible, but still maintaining a height that accentuated its beautiful aurora.

This made the impression much lighter.
It now blends naturally with the hand, creating a design that is easy for everyday use.

Opals have a 'soft' beauty. That's why...

This opal has a cabochon cut, and
is characterized by a gentle glow, as if light is softly emanating from within.

By delicately surrounding it with small diamonds,
the opal's charm becomes even more vibrant, like morning light shining on a lake.

The metal was changed to pink gold at the customer's request.
The combination of blue-green and pink gold is truly gentle and creates a sophisticated impression.
I myself was captivated, thinking, "This color scheme is absolutely stunning..."

 

On the day of delivery.

The moment I handed her the ring,
the customer immediately put it on and exclaimed, "It's adorable...!"

I can't forget her incredibly happy smile.
"I'm glad I chose this design,"
I nodded to myself countless times.

 

Jewelry is truly mysterious.
Just by changing its form slightly, it becomes something that can accompany new days once again.

With memories intact,
transformed into a form that's just right for me now.

I am truly happy to be able to assist in such a way.
With gratitude for the wonderful encounter with the opal and to the customer who entrusted it to us.
