Hello.
I'm Omori, a designer.
When choosing wedding rings, people tend to select what best suits them at that time, don't they?
The couple who consulted with us this time cherished the wedding rings they had ordered when they got married, rings they chose because they "loved them" at the time.
As time passed, their lives changed, and their family grew.
Amidst these changes, a new feeling bloomed, they said:
"We want to choose new wedding rings that we can comfortably wear as a pair, rings that suit who we are now."
This wasn't about replacing the sentiment of their old rings, but about welcoming a new pair that would accompany them in their daily lives from now on.
It wasn't about one being superior or the "right" choice, but rather, they came to find "a pair that naturally suits them as they are now, further along in their lives" — that was the impression I got.
Starting with the wife: feeling out the options
Initially, the wife visited by herself.
She tried on various wedding ring samples in the store to narrow down her preferences.
- As simple as possible
- Something that can be worn every day
- Comfortable to wear

Later, the husband joined her.
After trying on rings together, they chose simple domed rings.
- Husband: 2.5mm width
- Wife: 3.0mm width
- Material: K18 Yellow Gold
A touch of their unique character in simplicity
For the new rings, we decided to add a special texture, reminiscent of the delicate engraving on their first wedding rings.
It's delicate yet strong, with a hint of tenderness.
It evokes the image of "stardust," glittering softly like stars in the night sky.
I hoped these wedding rings would be something that changes expression with a fleeting light as they wear them every day, gradually adding to their shared time.
It's not "just simple," but has an expression that truly moves the heart when touched.
I felt it perfectly suited their atmosphere as a couple.

Comfort was paramount
Our utmost priority this time was comfort.
To ensure they could wear the rings comfortably every day, we polished the inside smoothly, shaping them to fit the finger seamlessly.
"It feels good."
I believe that single phrase is what matters most for a ring worn every day.
And the wife also ordered another item.
In addition to the new wedding ring, she also ordered a diamond eternity ring.
It's a piece that subtly brightens her everyday hands with its gentle sparkle.
The initials of their family of four inside
Inside the rings, we engraved the initials of all four family members.
Simple on the outside, a precious treasure on the inside—I absolutely love this understated touch.
During the creation process, the wife told me,
"My husband is really looking forward to it being finished," which also left a lasting impression on me.

Wedding rings don't have to be a "one-time" choice
Wedding rings reflect the couple at a particular moment.
That's why I think it's natural and wonderful to re-select a pair that suits who the couple has become after time has passed.
The old rings are cherished.
And the rings that will accompany them in their daily lives from now on are also cherished.
I was reminded again how wonderful it is for a couple's journey to take shape in their rings.
