Hello,
I'm Omori, the designer.
Today, I'd like to share a reform story that began with a single comment from a customer who purchased 440 jewelry, which they casually confided to me during delivery.
"I have some old jewelry, but I don't wear it anymore... I don't know what to do with it."
— "Please let me help you think about it. Let's transform it into a 'form' that feels right for you now."
The reason for their visit and the atmosphere
I met this customer through an introduction from another customer who loves 440 jewelry. (I'm truly grateful for the introduction.)
She was tall and slender, with the demeanor of a model. My first impression was that she was cool and dignified, but once we started talking, a gentle smile and soft voice spread warmly.
Our meeting time was enveloped in a quiet, clear atmosphere, and it was a moment that even brought a sense of calm to my own heart.
The jewelry she brought in
- A ring with brown diamonds and white rose-cut diamonds arranged fluidly like plants.
- A necklace with diamonds lined up horizontally.

Diamond necklace before reform
Both were beautiful pieces of jewelry, but she felt they "no longer suited her."
Therefore, I carefully asked about her style, usual attire, preferences, and occasions she wanted to wear them, and together we organized the direction of the reform.
Design Direction: The Balance of "Dignity" and "Softness"
The keywords were "light," "modern," and "wearable every day."
We proposed a design that highlighted the warm hue of the brown diamonds while creating a subtle rhythm on the finger.
To add a touch of softness to the cool aesthetic, we decided on K18 pink gold for the metal. It's a combination that blends seamlessly with the skin, allowing the diamonds to shine brilliantly.
Key points of tailoring
-
Reconfigured into two eternity bands
One is a simple base eternity band. The other is a modern style with charming space that makes the brown diamonds appear to float. -
Utilizing every diamond from the necklace
All diamonds were incorporated into the rings, creating an efficient design. -
Seamless layering
The diamond setting was handled by the same craftsman. When worn together, the two rings blend naturally as if they were one. -
Everyday comfort
Carefully adjusted spacing and height, with a balance of bezel x body to accentuate the main stones, creating an elegant and light wearing experience.

Completion: "Dignified Resonance" for Everyday Life
The softness of pink gold × the deep luster of brown diamonds.
The two rings can be worn comfortably together or individually. Each time she changed them in front of the mirror, her face would light up, which was very striking.
"It's completely changed, and I'm so happy!"
Her words filled my heart. The moment jewelry is reborn to suit "the current self" is always special, no matter how many times I witness it.
Next Reform
The rose-cut diamonds that were originally set in the brown diamond ring will take on a new form in a separate reform. I'll introduce that once it's ready.
Thank you so much for entrusting me with this important reform.
Please look forward to the next blog post.
