Today, I'd like to share the story behind the custom-made
heart-shaped ruby necklaces, ordered as a gift for twin daughters who just graduated high school.
Giving Form to a Gift for Two
"Actually, my twin daughters are graduating high school this spring,"
the customer told me, and that's where it all began.
We had a lively conversation about how she wanted to give them something memorable,
and she left for the day.
But in my mind, I already had a gem in mind that I thought would be "perfect!"
Sparkling, Heart-Fluttering Rubies
A few days later, I contacted her again and showed her some vibrant heart-shaped rubies.
Though small, their deep, impressive red color would surely remain in their hearts for years to come.
"Beautiful...! The color is so lovely," the customer beamed.
From several options, she chose two particularly vibrant and uniformly colored stones.

A Necklace to Gently Grace the Neck
The finish was a simple necklace that would highlight the cuteness of the rubies.
A delicate and sparkling thin chain was chosen, perfectly suited to the daughters' current lifestyles.
"They're so cute! My daughters will definitely love them,"
the customer's smile was very memorable.
A Gemstone Connecting a Mother's Encouragement
Rubies symbolize "love" and "protection."
