Hello everyone.
I'm Omori, the designer.
Did you read my previous post, "The '440 Basic - Loaf Ring' – Its Unsweetened Allure"?
I hope you enjoyed learning about its simple beauty and the story behind its design.
Today, I'd like to talk about the custom redesign of a diamond ring, entrusted to us by a client who was interested in our "440 Basic - Loaf Ring."
The client traveled all the way from Hiroshima Prefecture.
It seems they had been following our work on Instagram for some time and came to consult with us during a visit to Tokyo.
When we spoke, they had already decided on the design of the "440 Basic - Loaf Ring."
They brought in a ring set with a 0.34ct diamond.

Ring before custom redesign
Their request was to "transform my mother's cherished ring and pass it on to my daughter."
The size of the diamond perfectly suited the loaf of gold, which was shaped like a sugar loaf, and we proceeded with the production as per the client's request.
To precisely set the diamond, we made millimeter-level adjustments, creating a plump gold setting that softly reflects light.
The finished piece was as if a mother's love had taken shape.
The design, which envelops the dazzling diamond, became a warm creation where gentleness and strength coexist.

The completed ring was carefully packaged and delivered to her daughter.
Later, we received a heartwarming message: "My daughter was also very happy and said she would cherish it. I believe my parents are also pleased that I was able to beautifully redesign my mother's cherished ring and pass it on to my daughter."
From mother to daughter, and into the future—I am truly grateful to be able to assist in weaving the stories that jewelry tells.
May our work continue to be a bridge that connects new sentiments.
See you next time.
