Hello, I'm Designer Omori.
Following the "Grayish Tourmaline x Art Déco Modernism Ring" that I introduced last time, this custom-made piece is also a ring remodel based on our "Art Déco Modernism" collection.
Today, I'd like to share a special remodeling story that highlights the "expression of beautiful curves."
From a Solitaire Ring to a Shape That Fits My Current Self
The customer brought in a solitaire ring with a 0.5ct diamond set in the center.
They told me, "I haven't used it for a long time...", but its sparkle was still beautiful and impactful.
Many customers request a remodel of their solitaire rings, and I'm reminded again that "everyone feels the same way."
This time too, I received a request for a remodel from a wonderful desire to "transform it into jewelry that suits my current self."

The Encounter was "Art Déco Modernism"
Among many designs, the customer's eye was caught by a ring from our "Art Déco Modernism" collection.
They decided on this design without hesitation, smiling and saying, "This is stylish!"
The characteristic feature is a single line of diamonds that flows as if embracing the finger.
We set the customer's 0.5ct diamond on one side of this line.

Deliberately not in the center, but in a dynamic position
This diamond is set not in the center of the ring, but along one side of the line.
"The center is nice, but I think it would be even more wonderful if it were on this line," the customer themselves suggested.
I wholeheartedly agreed with their wish to incorporate a touch of playfulness and asymmetrical beauty into their everyday jewelry.
By placing it in a position slightly off-center from the theory, changes in the flow of gaze and how light enters are created, resulting in a ring that shows a fresh expression every time it's viewed.

A Diamond of Memories, Transformed into a Shape That Resonates with My Current Self
The moment the customer put the finished ring on their finger, a gentle smile appeared on their face.
When I saw that soft expression, a sense of relief naturally spread through me.
"I'm delighted that it was finished so beautifully," they said, which was the greatest reward.
I realized that the customer's feelings and sensibility were indeed incorporated into this shape.
Giving New Meaning to Cherished Gems
Reconstructing the charm of gems while being close to the customer's lifestyle and sensibility.
Remodeling has a "preciousness of inheriting feelings" that is a little different from custom-made.
This time too, I was truly honored to be able to weave the customer's wonderful remodeling story together.
If you have gems lying dormant at home,
or if you're thinking, "I want to transform them into jewelry that suits my current self," please feel free to consult us.
