Hello everyone.
This time, a customer brought in a ruby ring they had inherited, seeking our reform services.
The ring was elaborately set with tapered baguette diamonds, and its overwhelming beauty was evident at first glance. However, the customer felt it was difficult to match with contemporary styles, a sentiment we also shared.
That's when they presented a bold yet wonderful idea: "I'd like to transform this ring into a necklace."

The customer rarely wore colored gemstone jewelry and seemed hesitant about red gemstones in particular. One reason for this might have been the striking contrast created by the platinum of the ring and the vivid red of the ruby, which we believe was a source of her apprehension.
We held several consultations with the customer, aiming to redesign the ring into a piece she could casually enjoy in her daily life, while maximizing the allure of the precious ruby.
The resulting necklace features generous, rounded pink gold, which adds warmth and softness to the ruby's red, creating a gentle and harmonious color balance. While simple, the horizontal setting of the ruby lends a unique and sophisticated feel.

We also carefully selected the 50cm chain. The oval shape creates a sense of openness and airiness, adding a subtle accent. This necklace is a special item that adds a delicate sparkle to everyday style.

After delivering the custom-made necklace, the customer sent us a message of joy along with a photo of herself wearing it. Incidentally, this customer also purchased a one-of-a-kind Loaf unheated ruby ring. Both pieces feature a combination of ruby and pink gold. We are very much looking forward to seeing her wear them on her next visit.
