Hello, I'm Omori, a designer.
Today, I'd like to share the story of a custom-made station necklace, featuring luxurious rubies and diamonds, commissioned by a client who has been involved in the jewelry industry for many years.
An Order from a Jewelry Professional Who Knows It All
The client who consulted us this time is someone we've known for over 20 years, even before 440showroom opened. She is a true jewelry professional, working as a "jewelry coordinator" who leverages her extensive knowledge of jewelry to identify and propose what suits her clients best.
This client brought in five heart-shaped ruby loose stones (unset gems) that she had purchased from our company president previously, along with diamonds she already owned, and told us, "I want to create a necklace using these rubies."
Each of these gems was so beautiful it could be the star of any piece, and they were truly captivating to behold.

The Stars of Rings, Deliberately Made into a Necklace
All the rubies are from Myanmar (Burma).
They are high-quality heart-shaped stones with an impressive deep red color.
These loose stones are beautiful enough to be set individually into rings.
However, the client specifically requested a necklace, saying, "I want to wear it casually around my neck." This showed a unique sensibility and luxurious taste, typical of someone who has a deep familiarity with jewelry.
The diamonds were arranged in a mix of round and baguette cuts.
This created rhythm and depth within a simple design, resulting in a piece that exudes both quality and lightness.

A Necklace Where a Story Sparkles with Every Movement
The completed station necklace beautifully harmonizes the charming daintiness of the adorable heart rubies with the crisp sparkle of the diamonds. By making it slightly longer, it sways gracefully with every subtle movement, creating a piece where the jewelry naturally tells its story as it moves.

Because the client deeply understands the charm of jewelry, her choices for stones and design were very clear. It was a true honor to be guided by her discerning eye and sensibility to create a unique beauty.
Thank you once again for entrusting us with the creation of this precious jewelry.
Please look forward to our next blog post.
