Hello.
I'm Omori, a designer.
Have you ever had your jewelry remodeled?
Typically, remodeling often involves "semi-remodeling," where existing ready-made settings are used to reset your own gemstones. Of course, if you find something you love among the ready-made settings, that's also a wonderful choice.
A perfect design that semi-remodeling cannot achieve
However, among the customers who consult us for remodeling or custom orders, not a few have concerns such as:
"I had a semi-remodeling done at another store before, but the design just didn't feel right..."
At our store, we rarely perform semi-remodeling, which involves selecting from ready-made settings and resetting.
This is because each gemstone cherished by our customers has its own unique character, and each customer also has a "design that suits them."
To bring out the best in the customer's personality, lifestyle, and the allure of the gemstone. While carefully considering all of these, we create a design from scratch just for the customer.
That is the foundation of our remodeling.
Utilizing all your existing gemstones to create a "favorite"
Of course, if a customer has a preference such as "I like this design" or "I want this kind of style," it is possible to arrange it based on that. However, even in such cases, instead of simply copying a design, we consider the size and shape of the gemstone, the arrangement of the stones, the design of the prongs, and the customer's finger shape and impression, to create a balance that the customer will truly consider their favorite.
Our style is to meticulously attend to every detail.
Furthermore, even when using existing designs, we want to make the most of your existing gemstones.
We try our best to accommodate requests such as "Can you also use small melee diamonds?"
Each gemstone is filled with precious memories. While cherishing those memories, we give new brilliance to every stone.
Highlighting the unique qualities of amethyst and diamond
This time, we are introducing a remodeling request from a customer who loved the ring from our popular collection, "Art Déco Modernism."
The customer had an octagon-cut amethyst ring and a ring set with melee diamonds. The request was to combine these two rings into one.
The two rings before remodeling
In general semi-remodeling, not many stores will use even small melee diamonds. However, we value the customer's desire to "utilize their existing gemstones as much as possible" above all else. This time, we incorporated all of the melee diamonds, as well as the amethyst, into the new design.
Furthermore, this ring also has the effect of making the finger look slender and beautiful when worn on the middle or index finger, thanks to its vertical lines.

The amethyst ring after remodeling
A unique piece of jewelry, unlike any other, is born here
Holding the finished ring in her hands, the customer beamed with surprise and joy, saying, "I can't believe those two rings could become such a stylish design!"
The sentiments embedded in the customer's cherished jewelry, the allure of the gemstones, and the customer's wishes for "how they want to wear it." We embrace all of these to create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry.
That is our remodeling.
We sincerely look forward to helping you create such special jewelry in the future.
Please look forward to our next blog post.
