Hello.
I'm Omori, the designer.
A customer who entrusted us with the remodelling of an emerald and synthetic sapphire necklace a year ago came to us again with a new request.
Receiving a request again like this,
and knowing that they liked the previous remodelling—
there's nothing that makes us happier as jewellery creators.
Sapphire Ring Inherited from Father and Mother
What they brought was a blue sapphire ring inherited from their father and mother.
The moment it was gently taken out of the jewellery case, I involuntarily whispered "Beautiful...!" to myself.
The classical design possessed the elegance and glamour of its time,
but in today's lifestyle, it felt a little too formal.
"I want a design that truly makes me want to wear it. But I also want to cherish its original atmosphere."
In line with the customer's wishes, we decided to completely renew the design.
Gold ring and sapphire ring before reform
Blue Sapphire Ring Reborn with New Life
Keeping the 2ct sapphire in the center,
while utilizing the surrounding diamonds,
and adding newly prepared small blue sapphires,
we created a gentle, softly blooming flower-like form.
The gradation created by the shades of blue and the rounded curves transformed it into a ring that perfectly suits the customer now, gently fitting their hand.

Delicate Earrings to Enjoy as a Set
Matching the ring, we crafted earrings featuring cornflower blue sapphires.
Cornflower blue is a gentle, translucent blue, like petals filled with water.
It is an elegant blue, considered particularly beautiful among sapphires.
We provided several options, and the customer chose them personally.

Furthermore, using the small sapphires removed from the gold ring we received,
and adding diamonds, we crafted delicate, swaying, three-dimensional earrings.
Carefully considering the size of the earlobe and the position of the piercing hole,
a well-balanced pair was completed.

Emerald Earrings to Complement the Necklace from a Year Ago
Another piece we crafted was a pair of earrings to match the emerald necklace made a year ago.
The design is intentionally simple.
Diamonds are pave-set into a sharp bar,
and a small emerald is gently suspended below it.
These emeralds were also repurposed from stones removed from the same gold ring.
We meticulously adjusted them to balance with the voluminous necklace,
and to suit the customer's slender physique.

Three Jewels, Connecting Memories
The jewellery reborn this time includes:
- A ring featuring the inherited sapphire
- Earrings to complement that ring
- Subtle earrings that resonate with the emerald necklace
It was a remodelling where all of it—the inherited gemstone, the newly encountered sapphire, and "your current self"—
gently connected as one.
To see a cherished piece of jewellery shine anew in one's current life.
I am truly happy to have been able to help with that.
And later, we received this message from the customer:
"It was made so beautifully that I've started wearing the ring ever since.
I'm thinking of making an appointment to request the other piece that I put on hold."
What wonderful news!
Yes, that sapphire with its gentle color and thinness.
What kind of expression will it take, and what kind of jewellery will it be reborn as next?
I am also looking forward to the day when we can work together again to create a brilliance beyond expectations.
See you in the next blog.
