I'm Omori, the designer.
In my previous post, I introduced a brooch remodeling that utilized the beautiful harmony of a cameo and pearls. I hope you had a chance to see it. It was a piece filled with a father's deep love. Today, I'd like to share another custom-made story from the same client: a pair of earrings.
This time, the client brought in morganite, pink gemstones, and citrine loose stones, all in matching pairs. We started designing with the request to combine these into a single pair of earrings.
Loose stones before custom order
During the design consultation, we discussed how the client usually wears jewelry, showing them some of our pieces. The client mentioned that while they used to prefer cute designs, they recently wanted something a bit more sophisticated. The key request was a design that "isn't too sweet and is easy to wear every day."
And here are the finished earrings!
Custom-made earrings
The morganite, pink gemstones, and citrine create a delicate gradient of pink and orange. The colors are as soft as a watercolor painting, as if a sunset sky has been captured. Combined with delicate gold chains, the gemstones sway with every movement, creating a light and radiant sparkle like petals dancing in the breeze.
Although light-colored gemstones can sometimes have a subtle impression, the design with its gentle swaying movement adds a natural accent to the ears. The result is a stylish pair of earrings that balance understated elegance with everyday wearability.
Custom-made earrings
The client was very pleased with the finished product, saying, "I'm so glad I asked you to make them; they'll be easy to wear every day!" The previous brooch was for her son's special day, and these earrings are for everyday wear. I am honored to have created jewelry that shines in such different settings.
With their delicate watercolor-like gradient of pink and orange adorning the ears, these jewels have been given new life. Sharing such special moments is our joy.
